Job description

Yard Driver: Uses Tractor Trailer to shuttle trailers and or containers around the yard, and in and out of dock doors at Shipping/Receiving by performing the following duties.

1. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required.
2. Comply with Sunny Delight Beverage's policies and procedures.
3. Performing safety checks on all equipment.
4. Completing daily yard inventory of trailers and ensure yard is kept organized.
5. Setting up shipping with empty trailers for load out and remove loaded trailers and stage in the yard drop area.
6. Load and unload shuttles whenever needed.
7. Setting up receiving dock with inbound dropped trailers and move trailers as needed to yard drop area.
8. Keeping the trailer yard clean and clear of debris that would cause any safety concerns. Will need to coordinate and advise on and truck or trailer repairs.
9. Safely maneuver a tractor and trailer combination vehicle in a compact yard area.
10.Shuttle product to Saddle creek as well as pick up and deliver bottles from CCC and CKS
11. Perform related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

REQUIRED
o 2-3 years shipping/receiving experience required.
o 2-3 years forklift experience.
o CDL Class A license required
o 3 or more years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
o Good backing skills
o Good customer service & teamwork skills
o Good physical condition; must be able to get in and out of trucks several times per day
o Able to work in all types of environments, including inclement weather
o Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
o No DUI/DWI, Careless/Reckless driving citations or revoked/suspended license in the past 5 years
o No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years
o Current DOT medical card
