At least 2 years of previous hospital experience as a Sterile Tech experience required
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of previous experience Sterile Tech experience required
- Central Sterile Certification strongly preferred.
JOB SUMMARY:
Delivers and picks up supplies and equipment for sterilization as necessary. Assists in the operation of equipment in the Central Supply area including cleaning and setting up instruments, racks, trays, and respiratory supplies. Assists in OR and OB cart set up. Must effectively interact with peers, managers, and other health team members while maintaining quality standards. Demonstrates the knowledge and assessment skills necessary to communicate, educate, and provide a therapeutic and safe environment for specific age groups served. Other duties as assigned.
