Job description
Fulton Common Care Center is currently seeking for Charge Nurse for the evening shift from 3pm-11pm.
Charge Nurse Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required.
- Ensure that the Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and reflects the day-to-day nursing procedures performed.
- Ensure that all nursing service personnel are in compliance with their respective job description.
- Participate in the development, maintenance and implementation of the facilities’ quality assurance program for the nursing service department
- Periodically review the residents' written discharge plan
- Participate in the updating of the Residents' written discharge plan
- Admit, transfer and discharge residents as necessary.
- Report any known or suspected unauthorized attempts to access facility's information systems.
LPN Requirements Include:
- Current and valid NY LPN License
- Experience in a Nursing Home or Hospital
- Good Customer Service Skills
