Wiss Private Client Advisors, LLC ("Wiss Family Office”) is a fast-growing RIA with Assets under Advisement of $720bn (started in 2018). Our pipeline of clients comes from our parent company, Wiss & Company, LLP, which is also rapidly growing. Wiss & Co., LLP has close to 300 employees and provides a full suite of accounting and advisory services to middle market businesses and their owners (HNW families).
The Chief Operating Officer & Chief Compliance Officer (COO/CCO) will oversee the design, enhancement, implementation, reporting, and oversight of the firm's operations, human resources, financials, and compliance function. Reporting to the CEO and working as a key member of the firm's leadership team, the COO/CCO will take a leadership role in building, implementing, and overseeing all the firm's systems, processes, workflows, and procedures. The COO/CCO will also play a critical role in managing people – Wiss Private Client Advisors, LLC currently has a close-knit team of 8 people and is looking to continue to grow rapidly. The COO/CCO will also work to shape and guide the future growth and development of the organization, working closely with the parent company's HR, IT and marketing resources to execute the vision for the company.
This position resides in Florham Park, NJ - ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED. Wiss offers a permanent hybrid work schedule.

Functional Responsibilities:
- Supports the CEO and board in contributing to the business plan
- Creates and manages the budget (including bill payment)
- Manages all resources required for business, including technology
- Leverages areas of the parent company (finance, HR, technology) to advance the business' growth
- Develop, and implement policies and procedures and identify and implement changes across
- Manage team of people including performance reviews and professional development plans for team
- Manages organizational structure and selection of new team members
- Works with parent company office associates when necessary to handle challenges or implement
- Review, amend, and approve any and all Investment Advisory Agreements created by client service

- Manages relationships with external resource providers
- Leads all tactical and team meetings
- Owns segmentation/migration plan for business profitability
- Ensures that all team members are looking for ways to systematize the business to increase
- Owns master project list and assigns special projects as needed
Educational and Experience Requirements and Preferences:
- Seven to 10 years of business management experience across a range of business disciplines in the
- Qualified or possesses requisite experience in Wealth Management Operations
- High level problem-solving skills and thinking across Compliance, Operations, Client Service,
- Strong IT infrastructure knowledge and RIA Compliance knowledge
- Strong human capital management knowledge
- Knowledge of outsourced SMA manager intricacies, best practices and workflows
