Centre Safe

Children’s Advocate / Parent Counselor

(For Victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)
Full-time, non-exempt position, $16.00/hour + benefits

Provide direct services to children, teens, and parents residing in our shelter and/or receiving services from one of our programs. This includes individual and group counseling, advocacy and referral with local schools, community groups and agencies. Assist with education and outreach support groups and programs in the community to children, teens, and parents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of two years of experience working with parents/children
• Successful completion of Centre Safe counselor/advocate training program
• Must meet qualifications to receive FBI, Act 33, and Act 34 clearances
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
