Kilwins Chocolates, Fudge, and Ice Cream in Downtown Evanston is looking for a Shift Leader that will contribute to the success at Kilwins through the delivery of exceptional customer experience for our guests. We are looking for an outgoing person with a natural smile that is at home in a chocolate and ice cream spot. You will be tasked with operations and creating an exceptional customer experience in our welcoming store. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, be outgoing, able to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment, and enjoy interacting with people. This position is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.

Shift Leader responsibilities include:

• Training and development of team members
• Performing store opening and closing duties
• Oversight of team member responsibilities
• Monitoring store operations
• Assigning team member daily tasks
• Going above and beyond to do whatever it takes to make our guests happy

Compensation: $17 - $21 per hour ($15 per hour base pay + $2 - $6 per hour in tips)

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail or restaurant environment

Must be available to work shifts during evenings, weekends and some holidays

Must love ice cream!
