Civil Land Development PE (REMOTE - based in CO)
Pay Range: $50-$60/hr
We are seeking a talented Civil Land Development PE. As a Civil Land Development PE, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects that span multiple market sectors. This position is remote, but candidates must be local to Denver, CO.
Responsibilities:
As a Civil Land Development PE, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising, managing, directing, and providing oversight of engineering and technical support staff's tasks and responsibilities.
- Collaborating with Civil team members, Senior Project Managers, and Deputy Director of Civil Services.
- Developing project work plans and scopes of work.
- Preparing plans for roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Producing project deliverables such as technical memoranda, design plans and specifications, and technical reports.
- Preparing supporting calculations, construction specifications, and permitting for various jurisdictions.
- Preparing construction cost models and an engineer's opinion of probable cost for projects through various stages of development, from due diligence to final construction document submittal for bid.
- Demonstrating the ability and willingness to travel to project sites and other facility offices.
Requirements
To be considered for the Civil Land Development PE position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering.
- Possess a PE license in Colorado.
- Have 4 or more years of progressive experience in civil design, with an emphasis on drainage, utility, and roadway/transportation design.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and hydraulic/hydrology software. Experience with traffic, drainage, and utility reports is a plus.
- Have industry relationships and an understanding of municipal, state, and federal criteria.
- Possess experience and understanding of local, regional, state, and federal policies, programs, and procedures.
