Job description
Objective: Safely deliver animal health products to farmers across the United States utilizing a tractor and trailer to reach planned destination. Ensuring accurate, timely and bio-secure delivery to customer location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to safely drive tractor/trailer with air brakes to deliver products
- Maintain active Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Understand and adhere to bio-security rules and requirements
- Comfortable with scheduled overnight truck routes. Home on weekends.
- Providing excellent customer service on product delivery routes
- Loading and unloading trailers as needed
- Tractor/Trailer maintenance as needed
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
- Forklift operation
- Inventory counts and controls
- Attend meetings as needed
- Maintain overstock warehouse
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
- High school diploma/GED preferred, not required.
- CDL holder or able to obtain soon after hiring.
Experience:
- Truck driving experience +2 years preferred.
- Hazmat certification preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Be able to work as needed to complete job (night/weekend/etc.)
- Must have valid commercial driver's license and reliable transportation to get to work and attend meetings
