NON CDL CLASS C ROUTE DRIVER

Jones Poultry is growing and looking for a full-time Local Service Route Driver! Daily Routes, Home Every Night!

Competitive Wage, Class C License preferred, but not required. (We will help you obtain that license if needed.)

Work consists of safely operating a straight truck to make local deliveries. Some work involves heavy lifting and deliveries.

We are a well-established local, family-owned business.

A Typical Work Day May Include:

· Prior to trip: inspects vehicle including visual inspection of tires, windshield, and equipment.

· May check fuel gauges and record mileage.

· Delivers a variety of items to customers on a scheduled and/or unscheduled routes

· Able to operate a pallet jack

· Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

· Illinois class C license or ability to be licensed at time of hire

· Clean MVR and criminal history

· Must be at least 21 years old

· Be reliable, safe, courteous, dependable and responsible

· Position requires lifting and moving of materials

· Able to read a map/GPS and get to the accounts in a timely manner

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· Capable of following instructions and procedures

· Recognize and understand product names

· Lift/carry/pull/push product up to 60 lbs. by hand, 200 lbs. using two-wheeler

· Good reading/writing/communicating skills
