Client Transporter | Wooded Glen Recovery Center | Henryville, Indiana
Job Summary:
Provide safe and reliable transportation for facility clients coming and going from the facility. Exhibits adequate knowledge and skill requirements regarding driver’s particular role. Works on call during scheduled week. Will need to be able to travel long and short distances.

What you'll do as a Client Transporter:
- Transport clients and/or materials company vehicles in a safe and secure manner
- Follow all laws when transporting clients (staying buckled, speed limits, etc.)
- Ensure that the client arrives safely and on time to each facility/appointment
- Keep Administrative and Admissions employees current on client information(times, arrives, statues, discharges)
- Assist in client searches and bring in/out bags from the vehicle
- Completes incident reports for incidents, injuries, or accidents
- Reports any equipment in need of repair or repairs equipment
- Maintains vehicles in safe condition and Keeps record of vehicle maintenance
- Follows all policies on reimbursements for tolls/lunches/unexpected expenses
- Reports security concerns, problems, issues immediately
- Adheres to time allotted for breaks and meals, and returns to work at designated times
- Demonstrate job specific knowledge of fire and disaster preparedness during drills or actual situations
- Observe, respond to and report potential hazards which may result in an accident or injury to a patient, staff or others
- Report all incidents including potential incidents of abuse or neglect immediately to direct supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned.
