Job Responsibilities:

· In conjunction with admissions and the clinical department ensure that intakes are completed for prospective families/clients

· In conjunction with the clinical department and under the direction of the regional clinical director ensure that initial assessments are completed within company timeline and in accordance with assessment standard operating procedure

· In conjunction with the Clinical team and the Academy School of Excellence utilize a variety of standardized assessments such as Vineland, VBMAPP, AFLS, EFLS, PEAK, Safe-T etc when conducting initial assessments

· Develop goals which are best in class, evidence-based and reflect the goals of the client as well as the results of assessment

· Ensure that assessment tools and interpretation of assessments are appropriate for client

· Ensure appropriate transition of cases after initial assessment including overlap meetings with families and receiving team

· Provide a maximum of 5 initial assessments per week under the direction of the Clinical Assessor Lead

Qualifications:

· BCBA

· 3+ years of experience in the field supervising others

· Experience training staff on conducting of initial assessments

· Experience with completing initial assessments within insurance-based services

· Experience with insurance funded services

· Flexibility with hours and ability to work some weekends and nights as needed

· Experience with conducting a variety of Standardized Assessments ( skill acquisition and behavior reduction)

· Experience with utilizing electronic data collection

· Experience with services in-home and clinic environment

· Experience with conducting peer reviews with insurance companies for authorization of hours

· Experience conducting standardized assessments with the use telehealth preferred

· Experience with conducting assessments for a variety of ages and skill sets of clients

HIPAA

Team members are required to adhere to policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for the privacy and security of protected health information. Team members are permitted to use and/or disclose only minimum amount of Protected Health Information necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Reports all suspected violation of company’s HIPAA policies or procedures to Human Resources. Environmental Stewardship and Safety

· All team members are responsible for preserving the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the facility. Team members are expected to keep work and common break spaces tidy and to adhere to infection control protocols and policies.

· Team members are expected to adhere to facility safety requirements, report unsafe practices or equipment, and, if applicable, use the appropriate protective equipment as needed.

· Depending on role, and during the daily course of duties, team members may have to lift, twist, pull or push. Team members must be able to manage these activities up to 60 lbs.

· Any accident or incident must be reported immediately to a member of management for proper recording.

Salary Range: 90.000 - 100.000 per year
