The Clinical Director is a leadership role responsible for all clinical programing and services delivered within their assigned program.

SALARY RANGE: 73,000-80,000k

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Oversee and supervise all program staff

 Responsible for the oversight and monitoring of clinical services provided within the program.

 Responsible for maintaining current DPH/DEEC Licensing criteria and adherence to agency’s internal best practices, policies and procedures, and quality standards.

 Responsible for oversight and management of program referrals, waitlists, and intakes.

 Acts as liaison between Lowell House and all outside agencies

 Facilitates clinical team meetings

 Responsible for the oversight and implementation of the weekly Activity/Group schedule; delegation of staff to facilitate and carry through approved curriculum.

 Follow evidenced based treatment protocols.

 Engages all clients by understanding and addressing their needs whether within or outside the scope of work.

 Attend all required agency-wide meetings and trainings and completes assigned trainings by their due dates

 Maintain confidentiality of client, employee and agency information in accordance with federal and state laws and funder requirements.\

 Responsible for the program and clients’ safety, ability to respond to emergencies at any time.

 On-call responsibilities, including being available to respond to crises and emergencies during off hours

 Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

 Master’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Public Health or related field.

 License required: LICSW, LMHC, LADCI, LMFT

 5 years clinical experience working with adolescent substance abuse population

 Excellent organizational, training and time management skills

 Strong verbal & written communication skills

 Working knowledge of MS Word & Excel, and Electronic Health Records.

 Current certification in CPR and proof of TB status.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP:  Directly reports to the Director of Residential Services  Direct reports of this position are the Program Manager, case manager/counselors, medical staff, Education Coordinator  Indirect reports of this position (collaboration with Program Manager) are Recovery Specialists Supervisors and Assistant Program Manager WORKING CONDITIONS: This position has on-call responsibilities. As part of the responsibilities of this position, the Clinical Director will have direct or incidental contact with clients served by various programs operated by Lowell House, Inc. A successful CORI, SORI and DCF background check is required, as well as fingerprinting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $73,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
