The Clinical Supervisor (CS) coordinates and oversees the provision of direct care patient services for a select group of patients provided by a team of interdisciplinary clinical personnel. The CS is responsible for patient care service delivery that demonstrates excellence in clinical outcomes, episode management, re-hospitalization prevention as well as internal and external customer satisfaction according to benchmarks identified by the organization. The CS is responsible for ensuring that care delivery is coordinated and managed in an appropriate, adequate, efficient and effective manner as identified by the organization metrics. The CS provides patient care and clinical staff oversight and direction that is provided according to industry best practices, regulatory and accreditation standards and regulations.
