To thrive in this role, you must be able to:

• Perform high complexity testing in immunohematology, including antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and cross match.
• Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services.
• Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations.
• Be patient and detailed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or equivalent required
• California CIS (Clinical Immunohematology Scientist) CLS (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) Generalist License required
