CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR I-H
Job description
This position is located in Huntsville, Alabama, and will support a mental health clinical trials clinic The coordinator will be involved in clinical research studies in patients with serious mental disorders and will interact with other team members and senior investigators.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organizes patient enrollment planning.
- Compiles and analyzes data.
- Maintains records, tracks progress and conducts quality assurance on data collected.
- Phlebotomy and placing IVs.
- Maintain familiarity with appropriate Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates patient care and/or patient follow-up functions of the clinical study including planning and developing related activities.
- Arranges access to study medications including authorization for prescriptions.
- Employs strategies to maintain recruitment and retention rates.
- Prepares and submits multiple level of research documentation (IRB, IND, or FDA submissions, educational materials, reports, grant renewal reports, and study forms).
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and accrediting agencies (sponsors).
- Maintains any required documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Annual Salary Range: $41,175 - $66,915
High School diploma or GED required.
Additional Preferred Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to handle confidential research study data.
