Title: Installer Helper

Pay Type: Hourly

Pay Scale: $17.00 - $20.00

As an Installer Helper, you play a critical role in ensuring our designs come to life.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Assist in auditing construction materials and finish accessories before you leave the shop to ensure you have everything required to complete the job
  • Safely load construction materials into company owned vehicle
  • Unload and stage construction materials into the respective rooms at the job site
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism at the job site, to both homeowners and other contractors
  • Accurately and efficiently assist in installing each project according to the designed / engineered plan using the established construction techniques
  • Assist in installing jobs within the scheduled time frame
  • Assist in ensuring that the finished product is “move in” ready, which requires you to properly touch up, wipe down and vacuum all shelves, panels, drawers and floors
  • Ensure safety policies are being followed in the field

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as the business needs require
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including the ability to regularly lift up to 100 pounds and walking up and down stairs
  • Work in a construction environment that is often loud, hot in the summer and cold in the winter
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Must act and dress professionally
  • Must have a valid Utah drivers license and have a clean driving record. Our service area is generally limited to the Wasatch front (Ogden to Provo) and the Wasatch Back (Park City, Heber City, Huntsville)
  • Be subject to a pre-employment drug test
  • High School diploma (or equivalent)

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Experience in the construction / carpentry field is preferred, but not required
  • Willing to learn a working knowledge of carpentry / power tools, including, but not limited to miter saws, table saws, air nailers, drills, basic hand and measuring tools
  • Ability to read, understand and build closets per job plans
