Full Time (8 Shifts Per Pay) and Part Time (2-5 Shifts Per Pay) * Evenings 3 pm – 11 pm * CNAs earn up to $22.00/hour

As a C.N.A.: Certified Nursing Assistant, as a valuable team member, you will provide direct care to residents by performing basic nursing skills as directed. This position requires current PA CNA certification.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides direct resident care by performing basic nursing skills as directed.


SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Displays compliance with Federal, State, and local agencies as well as industry organizations, agencies and partners.
  • Provide direct resident care, performing basic nursing skills as assigned in accordance to current aide training curriculum.
  • Complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Identify special resident problems, safety hazards and emergency situations and report them immediately to the Unit Manager/Shift Supervisor.
  • Review Care Plans and perform the nursing care as outlined. Participate in resident care conferences, and assist in the revision of the plan of care when appropriate.
  • Document accurately in Point Click Care and accurately complete Resident care forms.
  • Follow Rockhill’s process for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
  • Assist in the delivery of Restorative Nursing Process in accordance with Rockhill’s procedures.
  • Adhere to all infection control procedures and process.
  • Participate in the orientation of new CNA’s to Rockhill.
  • Serve on committees or special projects as directed by the Unit Manager/Shift Supervisor.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by the Unit Manager/Shift Supervisor, ADON and DON.
  • Adheres to the Values and Expectations statement and element of the compliance program.
  • Adheres to the Organizations Policies and Procedures covering Privacy and Security in Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Possess the ability to follow directives and work with an attitude of cooperation and a willingness to learn.
  • Possess the ability to deliver quality customer service in a positive and respectful manner.
  • Possess the desire to care for the elderly.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with residents, family members and fellow team members.
  • Possess the ability to obtain proficiency with newly acquired skills and procedures.
  • Possess the ability to follow directives.
  • Possess the ability to prioritize tasks according to resident needs.
  • Possess the ability to work with an attitude of cooperation and willingness to learn.
  • Attend meetings and complete Relias in-services as required.
