Horizon Home Health and Hospice has been serving patients and individuals for more than 15 years. Horizon is looking for CNAs who like that one-to-one time with patients in their homes. We PAY MILEAGE!
Qualifications
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Must have BLS CPR Certification.
- Prefer one year experience.
- Home Health and Hospice experience preferred.
- Current driver's license and insurance.
Responsibilities include:
- Personal cares including showers or bed baths, dressing, grooming, etc.
- Light housekeeping, help with grocery shopping and meal preparation or other household duties as needed.
- Daily charting.
- Communicating with the team on a daily regarding patient care.
- Measuring vital signs and reporting to the team (for CNAs).
Skills:
- Must possess the ability to work independently without supervision; must be a self-starter and use good judgment in difficult situations.
- Communication skills to facilitate patient care between the patient, caregivers, and team.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Sensitive to the needs and experiences of others with a non-judgmental attitude towards persons of differing standards, values, lifestyles, and ages.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude and willingness to put the patient’s needs first.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
