Aerotek, on behalf of it's client, is looking for a 5-Axis CNC Mill Machinist for a privately owned aerospace manufacturing/machine shop in Auburn, WA. There is opportunity to grow into a lead within this position. The pay for this position is up to $40 an hour!

$25-40/hr

Night Shift 1pm-9:30pm

Job Description:

CNC Mill Machinist

• Read blue prints, engineering drawings, specifications, and interpret GD&T.
• Use micrometers, calipers, bore gages, height gage.
• Able to use basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
• Set up machines by installing pallets, vises, tombstones, and fixtures.
• Maintains specifications by taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Operate an overhead crane and drive a forklift.
• Edit G code and M code programs.
• Operate 3, 4, & 5 axis vertical and horizontal CNC Mills.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain equipment using preventative maintenance.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

Our expertise includes complex hard metal and aluminum high-speed machining. Our capabilities include a diverse range of 5-axis machining capabilities, up to large nutating head and gantry style machining, complex assemblies, and kitting.
