OVERVIEW

Provides support to the Credit Department and Commercial Lending Department by handling various administrative and analytical duties, maintains Insight records, tracking of commercial relationships, performs quality control for closed commercial loans and works on occasional special projects. Performs all administrative duties in conformance with the Bank’s lending policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain insurance tracking system; review status reports, scans policies and binders, prepares monthly reports, identifies, researches and resolves insurance exceptions. Track and maintains non-real estate and flood insurance.
  • Prepares letters for expiring insurance policies and corresponds with customers and insurance companies as needed. Verifies tax statuses with towns.
  • Prepares requests for updated financial statements. Maintains and updates ticklers.
  • Manages collection of financial information including request letters; tickler check in; upload and indexing in Identifi
  • Performs Quality Control check on commercial loans and makes necessary corrections.
  • Organizes packages for the monthly Credit Quality Committee (CQC) meetings, including agenda/minutes. Prepares and verifies any risk grade changes.
  • Completes the monthly commercial loan exception report and assists in the analysis.
  • Updates and communicates rate changes as needed. Updates property values and credit scores in tracking system.
  • Orders, tracks and distributes environmental reports, credit reports and Inspections & evaluations.
  • Prepare presentations for the Security Committee meetings.
  • Manages collection of up to date financial information on Borrowers/Guarantors.
  • Respond to inquiries/confirmation requests on commercial loan customers. Complete credit inquiries, property inspections, and other inquiries as needed.
  • Performs other special projects and unrelated duties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Knowledge of accounting, recordkeeping and loan documentation a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Insight software preferred. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
