Job Responsibilities:

• Performing installation, repairs, and maintenance of low-sloped systems including TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, and EPDM (3 years experience preferred)
• Operating a Leister welder and propane torch
• Performing work in accordance with the scope of work job specifications, warranty specifications, safety guidelines, and quality standards
• Creating client reports via tablet
• Supporting the Foreman in all day-to-day duties including but not limited to communicating with HQ and training and/or directing other crew members as needed

Job Requirements:

• Traveling out of town up to 3 to 4 weeks at a time both regionally and nationally
• Working in intense weather (heat and sub-zero), tolerate moderate levels of noise and encounter wildlife
• Performing essential job activities: heavy lifting (50 lbs), twisting, bending, use of both hands and arms, kneeling, squatting, standing and/or walking for long periods and climbing ladders and/or scaffolding
• Operating a Leister hot air gun effectively
• Operating a propane torch safely and effectively is not required, but a definite plus
• Operating a smartphone and tablet (generating reports, uploading receipts, communicating via email)
• Bilingual (Spanish) is not required, but a definite plus

Compensation:

• Journeyman - $20-25/hour
• Competitive industry-based compensation is dependent on the candidate's experience and contingent on skill assessment.
• Per diem - $25

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time position where overtime is required. RoofingSource is a non-union company where employees work all year-round.
