Job Summary


This position supports and monitors Minnesota State Operated Community Services (MSOCS) Vocational Services continued compliance with Department of Labor and Waiver Service Billing Standards and processes through fair, consistent payroll processing and report generation which ultimately benefits individual’s receiving Vocational Services.

This is a telework position, however this may change in the future with notice. The reporting location will be based on the selected candidate's geographical location. Upon hire, completion of a Telework Agreement is required.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as primary person completing bi-weekly client payroll and all tracking of Vocational billable services within the Centurion application.
  • Lead administrative support for Centurion to ensure the application is running effectively and meeting the needs of Community Based Services (CBS).
  • Provide administrative support to the Vocational Managers and Supervisors for all Vocational sites throughout the state of Minnesota.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Customer Services skill sufficient to provide information and support to vocational leadership, supervisors, individuals we support, including phone calls and teams calls in helpful and courteous manner

  • Data Entry skills sufficient to create database records and update entries or create and apply the basics of spreadsheets and supply/retrieve information in databases

  • Database Management skills sufficient to maintain and access database

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • English Language skills sufficient to write, speak, and/or read to compose correspondence with accurate spelling, grammar and punctuation to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers and the general public

  • Math skills sufficient to add, subtract, divide, calculate averages

  • Spreadsheet skills sufficient to develop and modify basic spreadsheets; sort and extract data

  • Typing/Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete a variety of reports, letters and data summaries

  • Word processing skills sufficient to develop and modify a variety of correspondence, records and reports; perform mail merges, develop forms and charts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of payroll billing and processing.
