We are seeking an experienced Community Liaison/Recovery Advocate to join our team!

As a Community Liaison, also referred to as "Recovery Advocate,”, you'll be a part of Synergy's passionate team whose goal is to help people in their journey to Recovery! Our ideal candidate will have proven success in the substance abuse addiction treatment industry and a pre-established network of business contacts in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

• Establish, maintain, and develop relationships with referents in assigned territories
• Exceed admissions goals by establishing influence in market segments; Including but not limited to: healthcare providers, hospital systems, mental health centers, educational institutions, court systems, unions, and employee assistance programs (EAP)
• Develop and implement strategic business plans for new and existing referral sources
• Maintain consistent activity levels for the following: weekly prospect meetings, facility tours, meetings scheduled, and admissions
• Record and monitor all activities in CRM system daily regarding needed actions and follow-ups
• Assist in placing those struggling with addiction in the appropriate treatment setting to begin or continue their recovery journey
• Act as a liaison to referents to promote Synergy's services, and continuously provide clinical updates and appropriate information to referral sources
• Conducts presentations to highlight company services offered.
• Carry out responsibilities in compliance with Synergy's policies along with local, state and federal law

Education and Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 3 years of experience in behavioral health or addiction treatment, or sales and marketing within the healthcare/treatment/recovery industry
• Life experience with or in recovery is preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• A passion and desire to help others in their journey to recovery
