Responsibilities and Duties
You will be responsible to oversee the overall performance of the multifamily asset with a focus on leasing, resident retention, managing expenses, and DQ collections.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee all leasing and renewal processes to ensure occupancy goals are achieved
- Provide exceptional Customer Service and ensure the entire team does the same
- Update and improve property to increase return on investment by following the property business plan - oversee interior renovations of vacant apartments.
- Ensure that work order and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion
- Enforce property and state/city/county rules and regulations
- Complete weekly and monthly reports
- Collection of rent, bad debt, and other income to ensure income goals are achieved
- Operate within budget using purchase orders and controlling expenses to ensure budgeted NOI and cash flow goals are achieved
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of experience as a Community/Property Manager
- Minimum four years of multi-family industry experience.
- Must have training or experience in basic computer use, including common applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel as well as experience with web-based software used in apartment management. Experience with Entrata is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum education High School Graduate or GED. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Industry Certifications are desirable.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Advanced organizational skills and detail oriented
- Ability to direct others to achieve company goals
- Strong leasing and customer service skills
- Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations, federal, state, and local
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties and responsibilities
- Knowledge of expense control and financial management
- Must have at least two years of supervisory experience in the property management field with knowledge of apartment rental and collection practices.
- Must have the ability to provide a structured, positive work environment while being able to work independently.
- Applicants must have strong management/ leadership skills, knowledge of marketing strategies and a firm grasp of social media network marketing.
- Must be professional in appearance and manner
- Must have general maintenance knowledge and ability to oversee maintenance supervisor to ensure property repairs, service requests, and make readies are completed in a timely manner

Pay: $56,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
