We are offering $1,000 sign-on bonus for Community Navigator.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

This is a non-exempt position responsible for providing immediate crisis intervention services, in partnership with local law enforcement, to adults, children, and families. Service intervention may be provided in situations to include, but not limited to, mental health illness, disorderly conduct, substance misuse, homelessness, panhandling, and parental assistance for juvenile needs such as counseling or school attendance/truancy. The Navigator may provide engagement, counseling, referral, and linkage to formal (community providers) and informal (family, friends, neighbors, school, etc.) resources to prevent ongoing client crisis and support law enforcement in efforts to reduce the number of officers deployed to non-emergency situations and reduce recidivism of individuals requiring non-emergency law enforcement support.

Available Shifts:

  • Wednesday and Thursday 11:00 am - 9:00 pm, Friday 2:00 pm - midnight and Saturday 11:00 am - 9:00 pm
  • Friday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Sunday 11:00 am - 9:00 pm and Monday 11:00 am - 9:00pm

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in the field of human services, counseling or rehabilitation, and at least two (2) years of experience in working with vulnerable population to include families experiencing substance abuse matters, domestic violence, and mental health and emotional behaviors.
  • Must have valid driver license and auto insurance.
