We’re excited to add a strategic and skilled compensation leader to our People team at SS&E! In this role, the Manager, Compensation will have responsibility for building, implementing and monitoring our overall compensation strategy across the organization. You will partner closely with teams across the People function and leaders across all business units to optimize and execute on effective compensation administration day-to-day, and wield data to evolve our strategy over time.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner within People team and business leadership to develop and iterate on a robust compensation philosophy and structure that serves as a key lever within our Total Rewards strategy.
  • Monitor the competitiveness of our current compensation through annual survey participation, recruiting data and ongoing benchmarking of roles within the markets in which we compete for talent.
  • Lead ongoing pay equity analyses and partner with HR and other business units to address any necessary actions over time.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Benefits & Wellness, People Analytics & HRIS Manager and Finance teams as needed in evaluating cost, annual analyses and other projects.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of key compensation trends, market research and library of historical
Qualifications:
  • 6 or more years of progressive experience in compensation.
  • Working knowledge and experience with HRIS, data reporting and other compensation tools.
  • Highly effective communicator and presenter on compensation across a variety of levels and audiences. Ability to simplify and translate complex concepts.
  • Adept at performing complex analyses using Microsoft Excel and other analytic tools.
  • Capable problem solver and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and building relationships effectively across multiple teams.
