<p>The Lead Configuration Technician will be responsible for assisting in multi-customer, multi-vendor configuration projects. This position will be involved in project initiation, coordination and documentation. The position is responsible for the setup, configuration and testing of customer equipment required for major configuration rollouts. The Lead Configuration Technician is responsible for ensuring configuration projects are delivered on-time, within budget and at 100% accuracy. This position will be involved in data entry for status and reporting information, documenting process changes and exceptions and updating project documentation. This position may be expected to interface directly with customer contacts to provide project updates and will work closely with the Project Management Team and Warehouse Team to ensure project goals are met. The Lead Configuration Technician will also oversee and direct the work of other Configuration Center resources in order to meet project goals. &nbsp;50% Configuration Project Management Help to define initial project setup and process flow within the Configuration Center and assist with documentation creation. Responsible for ensuring Configuration projects are shipped on-time, within budget and at 100% accuracy. Follow detailed specifications for the setup, configuration and testing of customer equipment . Set up a variety of equipment types for configuration and testing (including PCs, peripheral equipment, servers and network equipment) Complete customer configuration check-off lists to ensure 100% accuracy of configured devices and shipments Track and record inventory required for projects. Troubleshoot configuration issues with client. Effectively utilize Configuration Center resources in support of project goals. General vendor and client management assistance. Coordinate, track and post key project milestones. Provide support in the Change Management process. Obtain and/or provide documentation and document control as required. Data management involving Bailiwick systems and tools. Assist with data collection for status and financial reports. Ensure configured equipment is prepared properly for shipments. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the Configuration Center &nbsp;15% Field Technician Support Provide technical assistance and support to field support technicians in the field by troubleshooting configuration related issues during installation. Participate in occasional field installation projects when required either for training, scope definition or as back up for the project team resources. Occasional travel may be required. Provide technical support to Bailiwick Service Desk as needed. &nbsp;5% Customer and Vendor Interface and Communication Develop a thorough understanding of the customer’s configuration process. Professionally interface directly with customer and vendor contacts to gather configuration or other information as needed. Document and troubleshoot vendor equipment exceptions (DOA and damaged) Assist with job status reporting via Microsoft Office and other Bailiwick tools. &nbsp;15% Communication Effectively communicates throughout the organization Takes direction accurately and provide constructive feedback when appropriate . Participate in project-related meetings as needed Contribute to process documentation. Provide status reports to Project Teams. Provide technical training to Configuration Center and Project Team resources as needed. Mentors Configuration Center team members and provides work direction, training and on-boarding as needed &nbsp;15% Interpersonal Relationships: establish and maintain interpersonal relationships – developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time: Project Teams and Warehouse Department &nbsp;Education: • &nbsp;Related experience and/or certifications &nbsp;• Desired Specific industry certification(s) Experience: &nbsp;• Required Minimum 5 to 7 years related experience, preferably in a Configuration Lab Basic PC troubleshooting skills and knowledge of various Microsoft operating systems. Exposure to technical (LAN/WAN) environments and understanding of basic terminology and functions. &nbsp;Prior experience or familiarity with ERP software applications &nbsp;Demonstrated leadership ability</p>

Pay: $38,737.49 - $46,651.60 per year
