Leading Manufacturers' Representative of process equipment for Water, Wastewater, & Industrial treatment covering the western Untied States is seeing a Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer to join their Orange County Team. Individual will report to Project Manager or assigned project leadership team members. Provides assistance for all administrative duties, planning, coordination on assigned projects to help ensure schedule, cost and budget are met. Will be required to interact professionally with owners, engineers, field staff, subcontractors, general contractors and suppliers.

Duties:

  • Knowledge of plans, specifications and estimates as relates to the compliance for the project requirements
  • Organize and maintain all project documentation between engineers, owners, subcontractors, vendors and general contractors.
  • Review, prepare and submit submittals for approval by owner and engineer
  • Support team with interpretation of plans and specifications
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries and schedules
  • Review, prepare and submit RFIs for approval by owner and engineer
  • Perform all project closeout items including review and submit all equipment O&M manuals, start up schedules, and warranties.
  • Assist Project Manager with all financial documentation as relates to the project including: Change Order Requests, Change Orders, and Pay Applications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction management preferred
  • 1+ years experience in the construction Industry.
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft office software
  • Understanding of all contract documents.

Additional Information:

  • Salary: $70,000 to $90,000 per year (Negotiable based upon experience)
  • Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision/PTO/Holiday/Sick Pay
  • Projects size Range: $500k - $4 Million
  • Will support multiple projects at a time
  • Will be working in Lake Forest Office, not project locations.
