National Construction Company Seeking Local (College Station/Bryan) Construction Superintendent
This person will be responsible for overseeing a commercial new construction and rehab construction project.

As a construction superintendent, duties and responsibilities include managing the day to day activities of the project. This includes daily logs, delivery and distribution of materials, quality control, scheduling updates and site coordination. Good communication skills required to ensure local subcontractors are working together effectively.

Applicants must have previous experience in project management and have a working knowledge of all aspect of the commercial construction industry. Certification as a superintendent may be required. OSHA 10 or 30 preferred.

Experience or knowledge of construction is an essential trait for construction superintendents. Must be willing and able to travel. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to plan and troubleshoot. As coordinator between the subcontractors working on the project, applicants need strong interpersonal skills and the ability to be diplomatic. Strong computer skills in standard software like Microsoft Office Suite is also required.

In the course of the job, superintendents will receive the support of a senior project manager(s), accounting staff, construction assistant and the estimating department.

Pay: $5,500.00 - $6,500.00 per month

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
