Narratent is a national digital marketing agency headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, and started in 2019. Founded by Desmon Walker and Allen Shelton, we are best known for our work with NBC Sports, Universal Music Group, Ten To One Rum, Pronghorn, WayMaker, and RUSH University Medical Center.
Narratent has created websites, social media content, search engine optimization, and more for dozens of brands across all major cities of the United States.
Our Co-Founders met in college in 2012, soon becoming coworkers, fraternity brothers, and roommates. While working corporate jobs in advertising sales and marketing, Desmon and Allen built websites for small businesses as a side hustle. Eventually, the side hustle pivoted into an agency in 2021. Since then we have added two full-time employees.

About The Role
Narratent is hiring a full-time Videographer to film and edit short-form videos for use on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. This role will initially work on a short-term project basis for 30 to 90 days. The successful candidate will then be converted to full-time based on performance, cultural fit, and need.

Responsibilities
- Plan, produce, film, and edit 15-90 second high-quality short-form videos
- Film digital content content for client products, events, meetings, and other activities
- Ability to take creative direction and visually storyboard a concept
- Source video content from the internet and clip for social media
- Experiment with new creative formats and designs
- Stay abreast of social media trends and recommend new content weekly
- Attend and contribute value to brainstorms, project huddles, and client meetings
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Proficiency using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or other video editing software
- Must have a portfolio that showcases video and creative track record
- 1-2 years of marketing or advertising agency experience
- Strong professional and organizational practices
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
