RemoteCollins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Project Manager. This role will be interfacing with cross functional teams remotely and face to face, as needed, with various sites offering multiple challenging opportunities. You will be working with our quality processes to drive improvements and efficiency across the LS sites. Your knowledge and experience will be valued and contribute to furthering the success of Raytheon Operations Quality. Specific tasks include creating and leading project plans and engagements for quality excellence projects, developing stakeholder and executive updates, presentations, and data driven narratives that facilitate key discussions and actions as well as creating, maintaining, and reconciling tracking and analysis documentation, spreadsheets and information on project status and schedules.
This position works in a remote capacity.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for an entire project or several components of a project of complex component of a larger project. Project Management experience and expertise required.
- Ensuring key project achievements are well-defined. Create plan for Budget, Resources, and timeline to ensure projects remains on schedule, while promptly addressing and closing gaps. Experience working with finance and digital technology teams.
- Identify, lead and support continuous improvement with multidisciplinary individuals to provide project charter; process, and swim lane maps to create solutions across large, complex projects in a matrix environment.
- Monitoring projects progress, landmarks, and key measures. Present and gain approval to all stakeholders including senior leadership.
- Support Quality team to identify and prioritize improvement initiatives to achieve business results using standard methodology Process Management tools and methods.
- Support New Product Initiatives by reviewing proposals and contracts for Quality requirements.
- Provide guidance and tracking of improvements to Landing Systems PFMEAs, SPCs, Control Plans, and Process Capability Assessments
- Support implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and PPAP within Landing Systems Quality
- Understand and provide guidance as a subject matter expert in project management and CI.
- Travel requirements: 20-30%
Required Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree minimum of 2+ years of working in Quality or Continuous Improvement
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products, high proficiency with Excel and Project
- ACE Associate/ACE Event Leader/Green belt certification, ACE Practitioner, Lean or Six Sigma Black belt certifications.
- Experience in Business Practices in Operations including, Materials, Global Supply, etc.
- Project Certification, PMP IT Experience
- Root Cause and Corrective Action experience
- Experience with SAP functionality and tableau reporting.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
