*About the Role*
This role is part of the Control Team, which is an integral part of our Technical Services department. As a member of the Control Team, you play a major role in the success of our resort and have one of the most important responsibilities throughout the park. You will help to manage safe and efficient availability of rides, units and facilities. You will also support the Controls and Rides Maintenance teams ensuring our rides are inspected, maintained and repaired to the highest levels possible. Compensation for the role is around $70,000 depending on skillsets and experience.
Role Description
In this role, you will...
- Schedule daily tasks of all Control Technicians.
- Be responsible for daily inspection/ Sign offs of all ride and attraction control and electrical equipment.
- Work directly with Training and Compliance to track and ensure all control technicians are properly trained and up to date.
- Be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of all ride and attraction control and electrical equipment.
- Have daily contact to team members across site regarding tasks, problem solving and management.
- Track and assign all work orders within the Enterprise Asset Management system INFOR.
- Assign and track all tool kits that are issued out to all control technicians.
- Work closely with the Rides Maintenance Supervisors to ensure daily inspections are being completed.
- Lend mutual aid to Maintenance department during reactive and preventive maintenance to ensure both mechanical and controls are thoroughly checked and complete.
- Maintain Rides and Attractions in a safe and proper working condition in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health.
- Keeps safety as #1 priority.
About You
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 5 years of Supervisory or Lead experience
- Experience with DMX Control Protocols.
- Working knowledge of an Electrical meter.
- Proven experience in control equipment and logic-based controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Beckhoff)
- Experience with communication protocols (Ethernet IP, Profibus, CIP, EtherCAT, Modbus, and SERCOS)
- Strong people management skills to develop an effective team environment.
- Experience with CCTV camera monitoring systems both analog and network based PoE.
- Attention to detail in all aspects, when dealing with life safety electrical equipment in a mechanical setting.
- Superior analytical skills when looking at logic-based programming.
- Use of VLAN and WLAN protocols and automated control devices.
- Experience with Low Voltage Electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
- Ensures internal compliance safety and security procedures.
