Responsibilities:

  • Produce high volume, high-quality food from menus.
  • Various cooking duties – (grilling, preparing sauces, etc)
  • Maintain HACCAP procedures, sanitary regulations, etc
  • Maintain a safe work environment – prevent accidents to self/coworkers

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in a high volume food service with at least 1-year experience/exposure to menu research and development
  • Able to work with others in a team.
  • A reliable, quality-conscious, safe worker
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced hot kitchen.
  • Culinary knowledge of terms, procedures, and practices
  • Flexibility to perform assigned tasks independently or as part of a team
  • HACCP knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with a heavy workload
  • Self-organized and capable to work independently as well as in a team
  • Ability to accurately monitor wastage
  • Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)
