Our Cooks assure that our students eat better so that they can learn better. We prepare and serve three meals per day year-round in our campus cafeteria. At the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), we have creative and caring staff who make a difference in the lives of at-risk youth each and every day.
- Ensure proper setup of foods on serving lines and serve foods
- Adhere to guidelines for food safety and proper food handling
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining kitchen and dining areas
- Direct and mentor work-based learning and culinary arts students
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time working Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED, two years related experience, and ServSafe certification or ability to become certified
PAY AND BENEFITS: $19.64 per hour plus full benefits, including 12 paid holidays, paid vacation and sick time, 401(k) with match, and medical, dental and vision insurance
