The Coordinator Customer Support (Frontline) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for handling incoming customer phone calls, providing product information, processing orders and resolving order management issues.


This position is part of Client Services and will be located in Brea, CA. In Frontline, and will be hybrid. Our vision is to anticipate the customer’s needs while providing a world class telephonic customer service experience.


You will be a part of the Frontline team and report to the Supervisor Customer Support responsible for assisting with customer inquiries and providing efficient response and resolution to all customer requests. You will also maintain effective communication with customers to ensure accurate billing and shipments. Timely follow up and feedback provided for all customer issues. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Receive telephonic orders for processing, tracking, trouble-shooting and overall order management

  • Respond to a high volume of client calls in a timely manner

  • Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure accurate billing and shipments

  • Analyze, review, and process customer requests for return authorization and credits

  • Participate in specific offline projects and daily operations activities

  • Exhibit your clear understanding of the order process, warehouse distribution cycle ending with billing the client

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High school graduate, but college level education is preferred with a minimum two years experience in Customer Service and interest in taking your skills to a higher level

  • MS Office Skills - specifically with Outlook and Excel – Pivot Table and V-lookup experience preferred

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English along with reasoning skills and the ability to exhibit critical thinking for timely customer resolutions

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Using ORACLE (or a similar size ERP system, i.e. SAP, JD Edwards, etc.)

  • Professional telephone etiquette and customer centric mindset to support our customers in laboratories, purchasing staff at hospitals at all levels within procurement

  • Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative to respond to and/or address challenging situations with consistent professional and friendly manner

The hourly range for this role is $25.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
