This is a full time position supporting the office of People & Culture beginning immediately.
***Please note: This is not a remote position and the incumbent will be required to be in the office daily.***

JOB PURPOSE
This role is responsible for driving a positive first impression by providing information resources to internal and external constituents in a school setting. This position will play an important role in the department by resolving day to day operational concerns independently. Additionally, the incumbent will be expected to coordinate the calendars of the People and Culture leadership team by not only setting up meetings, but also evaluating if the meeting is appropriate for the desired outcome.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities that the selected incumbent will manage is as follows:
- In general, the Coordinator, People & Culture (P & C) performs a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative services
- Respond to all employment verification requests
- Post all vacancies on our recruitment systems
- Provide responses to general payroll inquiries
- Resolve all employee login/ password concerns (ADP systems)
- Serve as the unit level contact for the People & Culture department
- Provide advice and counsel to unit managers and staff
- Partner with P&C in onboarding tasks as needed
- Coordinate activities associated with employee on-boarding and orientation
- Initiate and process HR related documentation
- Oversee employee record maintenance
- Support various projects and programs centered around people & culture at Atlanta International School
- Other duties as assigned

- Formulate partnerships across the organization to deliver value-added services as related to job’s purpose
- Maintain an effective level of organizational literacy in the functional areas of human resources.
- Partner with internal and external key stakeholders
- Serves as a point of contact for all questions and management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma is a must; bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Strong preference for knowledge of the ADP Workforce Now and Apple Operating Systems
- Proven track record of project management, handling multiple projects with competing priorities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with employees across multiple functions to develop programs and execute strategies
- Patience, empathy, trustworthiness, and decisiveness are necessary for this position
- Respect for confidentiality and appreciation of diversity in all its forms is required
- Possessing high degree of professionalism and commitment to teamwork
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and self-reliance in working with little direct supervision
