A Nashville-based company is seeking a corporate counsel to join its legal department. The ideal candidate will have six to eight (6-8) years’ experience in general corporate law, insurance law, and regulatory matters in a law firm or corporate setting. The position will provide legal advice and support regarding general corporate matters and property and casualty insurance operations focused on retail sales, marketing, and e-commerce. The position will also support and approve development of marketing and advertising materials and website content, in addition to drafting and reviewing contracts, NDAs, M&A transactions, and asset purchase agreements. The position will also provide counsel regarding general retail agency/broker operations and independent agent operations.
This is not a litigation/litigation management position.
Candidates must be admitted to practice in Tennessee or eligible for admission. Candidates must have outstanding professional and academic credentials. Excellent compensation and benefits.
