This job is a civilian position and does not require military service (including commission and enlistment)
This position requires development of budget and detailed cost estimates for for complex military facilities while maintaining standard practices to assess national and international construction cost trends.
Responsibilities:
- Development of preliminary/parametric and detailed cost estimates during planning, scope development, and design phases.
- Apply understanding of construction task based scheduling, productivity rates, labor, and task durations.
- Review complex cost estimates prepared by cost engineering consultants.
- Research cost data with contractors, suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers.
- Provide cost estimating support for modifications on contracts under construction.
- Apply understanding of risk analysis concepts and their applicability to cost and schedule risk analysis.
Must have experience in:
Cost Estimating Software and Programs including RSMeans CostWorks and MCACES, 2nd Generation (MII).
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural)

Requirements:
- US Citizen aged 18 or older at time of hire
