The Cove Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for working in a team environment to ensure the overall upkeep and appeal of The Cove Aquatic Facility. They will use a variety of tools, machines and other necessary materials to provide maintenance to the grounds and related indoor and outdoor pool facilities. This will be an overnight shift (7pm-330am).

Responsibilities
- Have a thorough knowledge of the pool, mechanical, and related systems
- Effectively fulfills job requirements in a safe and efficient manner
- Performs a wide variety of daily work including balancing of chemicals in our pools/spas, cleaning of pools and spas surfaces, and other tasks on associated assets.
- Performs a wide variety of daily janitorial services to The Cove facilities including polishing of stainless-steel items, deep cleaning of the slide structure and pool filters, and deep cleaning of indoor facilities to prevent oxidation and calcium build up
- Inspects machinery and mechanical equipment for defects regularly
- Dismantles machines or equipment to gain access to defective parts and repairs them, using hand tools.
- Repairs and replaces gages, valves, pressure regulators and other plumbing equipment.
- Makes minor electrical repairs or replaces wiring and fixtures
- Paints walls, floors and fixtures of establishment, using spray gun and brushes
- Provides expertise and knowledge to the team
- Assists with designing and implementing training programs
- Assist in placing all outdoor furniture in storage each winter and resetting each spring. Repairs furniture as needed
- Assist with shoveling snow from employee areas and spreading deice and cinder is those areas
- Develops and implements facility maintenance check lists for all equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with customer service preferred
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Prior construction or mechanical experience preferred
- Prior janitorial experience preferred
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must have valid Oregon Driver’s license and meet company driving standards
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.50 per hour
