Our client, a national food distributor in Elizabeth, is looking for a Credit Analyst to join their Credit and Collections team.
Schedule:
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, in-office every day.
- $21-27/hour, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide credit and collection analysis for assigned portfolio of accounts.
- Review and approve daily orders to support sales and profitability.
- Resolve issues related to customer accounts, including past due balances and reconciliations.
- Assist customers and internal departments with information related to open account balances, including statements, invoices, payments and adjustments.
- Perform periodic credit reviews of existing accounts based on reports from credit reporting agencies, trade references, and analysis of historical data.
- Maintain credit files with proper, complete and accurate documentation.
- Enter new customer account set-ups and changes/corrections to existing customer accounts.
- Handle credit related correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare account files to send to collection agencies and collection attorneys.
- Support company's quality management programs by providing effective customer service to internal and external customers.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- College degree preferred but not required.
- 3+ years credit/collection/accounts receivable experience.
- Experience in Food distribution and/or supply chain logistics is highly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time.
Salary: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour.
