TITLE: Critical Care Transport Dispatcher
PAY RATE: $32 - $37 per hour.
LOCATION: 35 West 35th Street New York, NY 10001
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time & Part-time
SCHEDULE:
- A Shift: 8am - 8pm
- B Shift: 8pm - 8am (Overnight Shift)
- Weekend availability is required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- NYC REMAC certification.
- NYS Paramedic certification.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- BCLS, ACLS and PALS or APLS certification
- Minimum of one (1) year full time EMT or equivalent experience
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- 2-3 years’ experience in EMS transportation dispatch.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Geographical knowledge of service areas.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- The ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize each task accordingly.
- Ability to type 40/45 wpm’s and experience with data entry.
- Ability to work within a team setting as well as work independently.
- Tech-savvy with knowledge of computer aided dispatch software (CAD).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive large volume intake calls, prioritize and dispatch calls in CAD System.
- Determine appropriate level of care and coordinate transport calls and activities with EMTs in the field.
- Be courteous and friendly to medical facilities, the public, and fellow EMS staff, providing top tier customer service.
- Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.
