Allied Oil & Supply, Inc. is a family owned business head-quartered in Omaha, NE. Allied Oil is a lubricant distribution business which sells to the passenger car, truck, and manufacturing segments. The company’s branches sell and distribute premium branded product such as: Shell, Petro-Canada, Chevron, Valvoline, Premium Blue, CAT, Bio Blend, & Allied private label. The company has locations in Omaha, NE, Sioux Falls, SD, Des Moines, IA, Cedar Rapids, IA Kansas City, MO, Joplin, MO, Hugo, MN and Wichita, KS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide timely and accurate responses to tickets and emails

· Answer and document all calls, both incoming and outbound accurately and professionally

· Maintain a high degree of accuracy when placing orders on a customer’s behalf

· Use all available tools to ensure accuracy in process and communication

· Work to assist walk-in customers quickly and professionally

· Use various reports to reconcile orders and provide timely billing of customer accounts

· Support assigned Account Managers by updating contracts and customer profiles, creating quotes, and identifying sales opportunities.

· Proactively look for order issues, and communicate these to the appropriate channel to minimize customer disruption

· Prioritize customer needs and communicate this affectively to warehouse and/or sales staff.

· Coordinates all unscheduled deliveries with warehouse personnel and customer

· Coordinates with vendors to resolve issues

· Notifies customers regarding special delivery instructions

· Checks product availability for pending/aging orders and monitors customer back orders

· Resolves customer service concerns after determining root cause of the concern

· Maintain an in-depth knowledge of company products by utilizing various online training resources

· Keep customer current with updated pricing information

· Use a consultative sales process. Provide solutions to business problems. Build relationships

· Maintain accurate daily records and provide any needed follow up

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records relating to customer contact details and promotional activities

· Maintain outstanding levels of customer service

· Complete all required safety and corporate training

· Other Duties assigned when needed

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)

· Attention to detail and deadlines

· Above average written and verbal communication skills

· One year of customer service experience

· Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner

· Inside sales experience with demonstrated success

· Experience in reconciling AR information would be beneficial
