Customer Parts Sales Representative / Service Support

Position Outline:

Charged with the responsibility of selling parts over the parts counter and though work orders. This job function is responsible for assisting in the determination of parts requirements with customers, selling parts, and providing order processing services. Other duties include in store merchandising, general branch functions, and assisting in service work order processing.

Responsibilities:

Sell parts to customers and service work orders.

Customer parts order processing and expediting

Follow up with vendors and keep customers informed as to the status of their order.

Assist in the procurement and expediting of all parts and material purchases as required.

Work with Service, Sales, Rentals, and other branch personnel to solve parts related issues as needed.

Uphold the guidelines and procedures of the company and parts department.

Provide customers and co-workers with excellent customer service at all times.

Duties:

1. Customer Parts Sales

a. Knowledgeable on the parts systems for all manufacturers represented by Hoffman Equipment to be able to identify the correct parts for the customer.

b. Knowledgeable on the Hoffman Equipment PFW computer system

c. Knowledgeable on all features and benefits of all parts sold.

d. Knowledgeable on selling techniques.

e. Able to deal with all customers objections in a professional manner.

f. Knowledgeable of the competitive environment in which Hoffman Equipment Operates.

g. Pick, pack, and ship parts for orders

h. Make sure phones are answered and any voicemails/required call backs are returned promptly.

2. Branch Duties

a. Assist in branch operations, clean up, maintenance, when needed/required.

b. Maintain a clean, neat, and professional work environment.

3. Service Support

a. Assist NY Service Manager and Foreman with Marlboro and other NY branch service work order processing.

Report to:

Dan Shafer, Parts Manager

Hours:

8 hours per day with a ½ hour lunch

This is a union position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,000.00 - $71,000.00 per year
