If you enjoy working with people and a fast paced, always interesting work environment, the Bozeman Daily Chronicle in beautiful Bozeman, Montana has the job for you! This is a full -time position Monday - Friday. Job duties include:
Helping customers over the phone and in person to place classified advertising.- Making outbound phone calls to existing and potential clients to present opportunities for employment and digital advertising and offering ads in special magazine style publications.
- Scheduling advertising to run in the paper and digitally using a computer program.
- Assisting walk in customers with a variety of newspaper advertising and circulation services.
Position pays an hourly rate plus commissions on sales with estimated annual earnings in the $38,000 range, with the opportunity to earn more based on actual sales.
The ideal candidate will genuinely like people, have good written and verbal communication skills, be a good listener and be interested in and wiling to learn about marketing and advertising, both in print and digitally.
Prior sales or customer service experience is helpful, but not necessary if you have an outgoing personality and are sincere and open in your communication.
