The Customer Service Representative (CSR) role serves as a critical partner between global BPS customers within a specific Life Sciences site’s supporting departments and external customers. Will be the point of contact for order management, change control communication management, pricing, quotations, part builds, quality complaints, scheduling, credit issues, and shipping. Works closely together with our internal departments within the same site.

  • Can be based in Beaverton, MI, or Williamsburg, MI!

This role needs to have the ability to be agile, investigate key internal/external customer requirements, drive resolution and respond quickly with solutions providing accurate and timely information regarding customer needs to satisfy the customer.

Key Accountabilities:

Will use his / her judgement to determine how to communicate information to the customers based on the complexity of the information to be conveyed, their knowledge of their customers’ learning styles, customer preferences and best practices on behalf of Saint-Gobain.

Will anticipate customer needs to offer out of the box solutions; therefore, will examine any documentation, email or solution provided to ensure it meets the customers’ original request and does not create further actions, questions or unanswered needs.

This Customer Service Representative will be driven by empathy analyzing all document content and ensuring he / she understands all content or pushes back for clarity where needed before distribution to our customers, and will proactively prepare answers to potential questions prior to the initial communication contact.


Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience is required.
