Job description
The Clinical Excellence Coordinator functions in the role of expert clinician, facilitator of learning, and researcher. The Clinical Excellence Coordinator, in collaboration with the healthcare team, monitors the clinical care of cardiac patients and provides clinical support to improve patient care and patient outcomes, and provides leadership to define and integrate best practice models for designated patient populations throughout the continuum of care. The Clinical Excellence Coordinator serves as a consultant at the departmental, institutional and system level, utilizing clinical expertise and knowledge to contribute to the program.
