Position Overview:

We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk to type information into our database from paper documents. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that is easily accessible through a digital database. Responsible for performing data entry work using a computer and appropriate software, entering, updating, researching, verifying and retrieving data into/from various systems, and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of information recorded.

Responsibilities:

· Type in data provided directly from customers

· Update existing data

· Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

· Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes

· Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

Ideal Candidate:

· Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)

· Great attention to detail

· Proven experience as data entry clerk preferred
