One Community Bank is seeking a DATABASE DEVELOPER to join our team.

Summary:
The Database Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting relational databases. Candidates must be skilled at designing and implementing new data models, writing SQL, and understanding stakeholder requirements. The job requires a solid understanding of database troubleshooting and experience with industry standards for database operations. This role requires the ability to evaluate business needs and translate them into technology solutions. The successful candidate must balance technical skills with a big-picture view of how the organization utilizes data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of DATABASE DEVELOPER include the following:
- Evaluate needs, design, develop, and maintain both existing and new databases.
- Monitor and troubleshooting database issues.
- Create, maintain, and update documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate and provide database and SQL expertise, and mentorship to members of the Technology and Data Analytics Teams.
- The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessitated by business demands.
Desired Qualifications / Skills / Abilities of DATABASE DEVELOPER:
- 5 years' experience in database development including data modeling, implementation, performance tuning, and report writing.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with MS SQL Server (T-SQL), SSRS, and SSIS a plus.
- Experience with scripting such as PowerShell, bash, etc.
- Solid writing skills.
