Job Summary:

The RestoreTech Technician is responsible for performing a variety of project-cleaning functions, such as carpet/upholstery cleaning, stripping/waxing floors, post-construction clean up, and for safely operating and transporting a variety of equipment and machines.

Please Note – This is a Physically demanding job – prolonged standing and walking, and repeated bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting (up to 75 pounds solo and 100-150 pounds via team) is regularly required.

Essential Job Duties:

• Strips and refinishes hard surface floors.
• Moves furniture.
• Washes windows.
• Cleans carpets and upholstery.
• Washes walls, furniture, etc.
• Dusts/sanitizes, vacuums, sweeps and mops entries, rooms, offices, etc.
• May occasionally assist in fire, smoke, and water damage restoration services.
• Will conduct biohazard clean-up such as fluids, spills, etc.
• Operates, transports, and maintains equipment such as truck-mount carpet cleaning equipment, portable carpet cleaning machines, swing-arm buffers, auto-scrubbers, etc.
• Operates aerial and scissor lift equipment, completing all required training and adhering to safety policies and practices.
• Interacts with customers as needed to facilitate professional communications in writing or face to face.
• Practices and ensures safe vehicle operation and good driving techniques.
• Performs related work as required.

Requirements:

• Valid drivers’ license & acceptable drivers’ history
