Position Title: Inventory Clerk
Reports to: Inventory Control Manager
Shift: C Mon-Thurs 6:30pm - 5:00am (Shift Differential)
Location: Gastonia
The Inventory Control Lead will assist and support the Gastonia DC in its pursuit to continued success. In addition, this position will provide both analytical and operational guidance and support. Finally, research, data integrity and communication are key parts of this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain SKU master data for WM
- Responsible for all data entry initiatives
- Inventory research and trend analysis
- System reconciliation
- Data research
- Warehouse utilization
- COF research
- Physical Inventory / Warehouse accuracy
- System maintenance
- Reporting
- Global business segment support (sourcing, quality, data governance, etc.)
- Manage rework projects
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years in logistics inventory control role or equivalent analytical experience
- Systems knowledge (SAP, MS Office)
- Moderate data analysis experience a must (strong in Excel)
- Solid analytical skills and troubleshooting skills with high detail orientation
- Good communication both written and verbal is necessary due to the significant interaction required to ensure alignment and coordination across groups
- Ability to plan work on daily basis, work independently with little supervision and be self-motivated
